John Higgins MBE (born 18 May 1975) is a Scottish professional snooker player from Wishaw. He turned professional in 1992 and is one of the most successful players in the modern history of the sport.Higgins’s career accomplishments include winning four World Championship titles (1998 2007 2009 and 2011) three UK Championship titles (1998 2000 and 2010) and two Masters titles (1999 and 2006).
