John Hastings (born July 5 1964 in Newport News Virginia) is an American rugby league footballer who plays for the Fairfax Eagles in the AMNRL. and is a former strength and conditioning coach for the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. He earned his degree in psychology and physical therapy from Ohio University in 1987. Hastings originally joined the Redskins organization in 2002 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
