John Edward Ferris (born July 24 1949) is an American former competition swimmer Olympic medalist and former world record-holder.Ferris won two bronze medals at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City Mexico: one in the men’s 200-meter individual medley and one in the men’s 200-meter butterfly.
