Bishop John Baptist Butt (20 April 1826 – 1 November 1899) was a Roman Catholic bishop in the Archdiocese of Southwark and Titular Bishop of Sebastopolis in Thracia.Butt was born in Richmond upon Thames Surrey. On 18 December 1884 aged 58 Butt was appointed an Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Southwark as well as Titular Bishop of Milo and ordained several months later.
