John Amandus Aae (1890–1968) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.He was born in Jämtland but grew up in Snillfjord. He became manager of the newspaper Ny Tid in 1919. In the 1923 party split which saw the Communist Party break away from the Labour Party Aae sided with the Labour Party. As Ny Tid now sided with the Communist Party Aae and others established a Labour newspaper Arbeider-Avisen.
