Joel Houghton (born 26 November 1991) is an Australian rules footballer for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League. He was selected by Fremantle with the 36th pick in the 2009 AFL Draft. Houghton has been described as a tall forward with a great set shot and outstanding endurance.Houghton was selected as a WA Under-18 representative in 2009 and played all 5 games at the championships kicking 10 goals.
