James H. Jim Tarbolton (born 5 May 1899) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL).Tarbolton came to Fitzroy from the Railways club in Sydney. He was on a half back flank for Fitzroy in the 1923 VFL Grand Final which they lost to Essendon.
