James L. Jim Stewart (16 February 1917 – 31 January 1942) was an Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).Stewart could only manage six appearances in his first two league seasons but was a good performer in the reserves winning the club’s reserves Best and Fairest in 1939. His efforts that year earned him more regular games in 1940 with 13 games and 10 goals.
