James Nielson “Jim” Corbett Jr. (September 26 1924 – June 30 2007) was an Arizona politician. He was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 1956 to 1958 the Tucson City Council from 1963 to 1967 and then Tucson City Mayor from 1967 to 1971. In 1979 Corbet was elected clerk of the Pima County Superior Court a position he held for twenty years.Jim Corbett was born in Los Angeles California to a Tucson pioneering family.
