JFMIP stands for Joint Financial Management Improvement Program which was a program authorized by the Budget and Accounting Procedures Act of 1950 (31 USC 65). JFMIP was to be a joint and cooperative action would be undertaken by the U.S. Department of the Treasury the General Accounting Office the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Personnel Management.
