Gerald Jerry Francis Oberholtzer (born March 10 1959) is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. Oberholtzer was the mayor of Snellville Georgia from 2003 to 2011.Originally from Allentown Pennsylvania Oberholtzer received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clemson University in 1981His election as mayor was his third run for public office. He had previously lost a bid to become a city councilman in 1997 but was subsequently elected in 1999.
