Jean-Pierre Urkia M.E.P. (November 27 1918 – December 21 2011) was a French Vicar Apostolic of the Roman Catholic Church.Urkia was born in Espelette France and was ordained as a priest on June 26 1942 from the Religious group the La Société des Missions Etrangères. He was appointed to the Vicariate Apostolic of Paksé along with the Titular Bishop of Masclianae on June 12 1967 and ordained bishop on September 27 1967. He remained Vicar Apostolic until June 10 1975.
