Javanese /dʒɑːvəˈniːz/ (Javanese: ꦧꦱꦗꦮ Båså Jåwå) is the language of the Javanese people from the central and eastern parts of the island of Java in Indonesia. There are also pockets of Javanese speakers in the northern coast of western Java.
