Japanese Argentines (Spanish: japonés argentino Japanese: Nikkei Aruzenchin-jin) are citizens of Argentina of Japanese ancestry. Argentina has the third largest population of Japanese immigrants and their descendants in Latin America after Brazil and Peru. According to Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs there are about 11675 Japanese citizens and 23000 people of Japanese descent living in Argentina as of 2011.
