Jane Ellen Swagerty Hill (born July 30 1951) née Jane Ellen Swagerty is a former American competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. Swagerty represented the United States at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Swagerty received a bronze medal for her third-place finish in the women’s 100-meter backstroke. She also swam the backstroke leg in the preliminary heats of the women’s 100-meter medley relay for the gold medal-winning U.S.
