Jan Benzien (born 22 July 1982 in Giessen) is a German slalom canoer who has competed since the late 1990s.He won nine medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (C-1 team: 2006) seven silvers (C-1: 2002 C-1 team: 2002 2005 2007 2010 2011 2013) and a bronze (C-1: 2009). He won additional 12 medals at the European Championships (2 golds 6 silvers and 4 bronzes).Benzien competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
