James Souttar FRIBA (11 February 1840 London – 22 April 1922 Aberdeen) was a Scottish architect.The son of William Souttar of Edenville Aberdeen Souttar worked in Gothenburg (1863) and Stockholm (1863-6) in Sweden and his works there include The English Church at Wallingatan in Stockholm 1865โ€“66 later moved to Diplomatstaden.Another building that takes place in Souttar’s portfolio was the St. Nicholas Congregational Church in Aberdeen.
