James Skehill (born 22 February 1988) is an Irish hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the Galway senior team.Born in Cappataggle County Galway Skehill first excelled at hurling whilst at school in St. Brigid’s Vocational School in Loughrea. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first lined up with the Galway minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 2008 championship.
