James Pulliam was an noted Modernist architect in the Los Angeles area. He was known for a cut into box style exhibited by the All-State Savings and Loans in Glendale CA and Student Union Building at Cal Poly Pomona and a transformation of a ferry building into what is now the Los Angeles Maritime Museum.
