James O’Donnell Bennett (1870-1940) was an American journalist and author.He was born in Jackson Michigan in 1870 and became a journalist and author while living in Chicago Illinois. He wrote for the Chicago Record Herald during the Spanish–American War and the First World War moving into dramatic and literary criticism as a writer for the Chicago Tribune.Bennett died in his home in Chicago in 1940.
