James Herbert Lloyd Morrell (or Lloyd Morrell) was the seventh Bishop of Lewes. He was born on 12 August 1907 and educated at Dulwich College and King’s College London. He began his career with curacies at St Alphage Hendon and St Michael and All Angels Brighton after which he was the Bishop of Chichester’s Chaplain and then a Lecturer for The Church of England Moral Welfare Council.
