James Henry Langstaff (born 27 June 1956) is the current Bishop of Rochester.Langstaff was educated at St Catherine’s College Oxford and ordained in 1982. His ordained ministry began with a curacy at St Peter’s Farnborough Hampshire after which he was Vicar of St Matthew’s Duddeston and St Clement’s Nechells. He was the then chaplain to the Rt Revd Mark Santer (Bishop of Birmingham) and Area Dean of Sutton Coldfield before his ordination as Bishop of Lynn in 2004.
