James Herbert Gholson (1798 – July 2 1848) was a nineteenth-century congressman lawyer and judge from Virginia.Born in Gholsonville Virginia Gholson pursued in an academic course and graduated from Princeton College in 1820. He studied law and was admitted to the bar commencing practice in Percivals Virginia.
