James Edward Fitzgerald (December 30 1938 – September 11 2003) was an American bishop.Born in Chicago Illinois Fitzgerald was ordained a priest on May 23 1964 for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet in Illinois. On January 11 2002 he appointed titular bishop of ‘Walla Walla’ and auxiliary bishop of the Joliet Diocese and was ordained on March 19 2002. On June 5 2003 he resigned.
