James Aloysius Byrne (June 22 1906–September 3 1980) was a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.Jim Byrne was born in Philadelphia PA. He attended St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia. He was engaged in business as a mortician from 1937 to 1950. He was the county registrar for the Bureau of Vital Statistics 1934-1939.
