The Jaipur Metro (Hindi: जयपुर मेट्रो Jaipur Metro) is a rapid transit system under construction in the city of Jaipur Rajasthan India. Construction of the first part of the first line comprising 9.2 km from Mansarovar to Chandpole Bazaar started on November 13 2010. The Jaipur Metro Rail system is expected to be India’s fourth Metro Rail system after those in Kolkata Delhi and Bangalore.
