Jacobsen is an upscale brand of specialty beers owned by Carlsberg. Named after Carlsberg’s founder J.C. Jacobsen it is housed in the original Carlsberg brewery in Valby in Copenhagen Denmark and is currently headed by brewmaster Morten Ibsen.
