John G. ‘Jack’ Leith (born 12 August 1872) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the early years of the Victorian Football League (VFL).Leith was a forward and prior to joining Melbourne in the inaugural VFL season played with Geelong in the Victorian Football Association. He was a centre half forward in Melbourne’s 1900 premiership team and topped the club’s goalkicking on four occasions 1897 1899 1902 and 1907.
