Iván Calderón Marrero (born January 7 1975) is a Puerto Rican retired professional boxer. As an amateur Calderón represented Puerto Rico in international competitions and attended the 2000 Olympic Games in Australia. On May 3 2003 he won the World Boxing Organization’s minimumweight championship when he defeated Eduardo Marquez by technical decision. He defended this title successfully eleven times and was recognized as a Super Champion by the organization.
