.Ishkani or Ishkhan (Georgian: იშხანი Armenian: Իշխան Turkish: Işhan) Is a ruined Christian monastery on the territory of modern Turkey (Artvin province). It was one of the important spiritual centers in the Middle Ages Tayk/Tao-Klarjeti. The monastery of Ishkhan is situated in the village of Ishkhan in the province of Artvin. Only the magnificent church and the adjacent chapel have survived.
