Ira Wells Wood (June 19 1856 Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania – October 5 1931 Trenton New Jersey) was an American Republican Party politician who represented New Jersey’s 4th congressional district from 1904 to 1913.Walsh was born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania on June 19 1856. He graduated from Princeton College in 1877. He studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1880 and commenced practice in Trenton New Jersey.
