iPed and other names such as aPad are generic names in China for tablet computers which resemble the Apple iPad. The iPed tablet is less expensive and is considered a clone of the iPad.As of November 2010 the name iPed was used for a tablet media player personal computer (PC) with Google Android 1.6 and a 7 inches (180 mm) display.
