Ion (corporately styled ION) is a rapid transit service planned for the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Ontario Canada as an enhancement to Grand River Transit.In 2009 an Environmental Assessment (EA) began to create a proposal of light rail though Kitchener and Waterloo and adapted bus rapid transit through Cambridge.
