Ioannis Grivas (Greek: Ιωάννης Γρίβας; born 23 February 1923) Greek judge was the 87th Prime Minister of Greece who served as a non-party interim Prime Minister. Grivas was born in Kato Tithorea Tithorea Phthiotis in the region of Lokris. He studied law at the University of Athens and in 1954 he became a judge. In 1979 he was appointed to the Areios Pagos (Supreme Court of Greece for Civil and Criminal Cases).
