Investors in People is a business improvement tool administered by UK Commission for Employment and Skills and supported by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). It was launched in 1991.According to Cranfield School of Management in 2008 there were almost 40000 organizations currently working with Investors in People. These organizations employ over 7 million people in the UK.
