The Internationalist Communist Party (Battaglia Comunista) is a left communist party in Italy.It was founded in 1952 by the wing of the International Communist Party led by Onorato Damen which opposed Amadeo Bordiga’s advocacy of a return to Lenin. Damen instead supported holding on to the theoretical developments of Bilan and the Italian left in exile in the thirties.Battaglia Comunista took part in a series of conferences of the communist left in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
