Iliya Mate (Ukrainian: Ілія Федорович Мате ; born 1956) is a wrestler from Donetsk Ukraine. He was Olympic gold medalist in Freestyle wrestling in 1980 competing for the Soviet Union. He won gold medals at the 1979 and 1982 World Wrestling Championships.
