Ilokano (Ilocano) /iːloʊˈkɑːnoʊ/ (Ilocano: Ti Pagsasao nga Iloko) is the third most-spoken language of the Republic of the Philippines.An Austronesian language it is related to such languages as Indonesian Malay Fijian Maori Hawaiian Malagasy Samoan Tahitian Chamorro Tetum and Paiwan. It is closely related to some of the other Austronesian languages of Northern Luzon and has slight mutual intelligibility with the Balangao language and Eastern dialects of Bontoc language.
