Igor Kovalenko (Latvian: Igors Kovaļenko; Russian: Игорь Викторович Коваленко; born December 29 1988 Novomoskovsk Ukraine) is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster now playing for Latvia.Kovalenko is a chess International Master (2008) and Grandmaster (2011). He won the Latvian Chess Championship in 2013 as well as the Riga Technical University Open 2013 a tournament with 27 other grandmasters.
