Iesu! (Welsh for Jesus) is a play written by Aled Jones Williams. It was premièred in Sherman Cymru Cardiff in August 2008 coinciding with the city hosting the National Eisteddfod. This first production was by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.The play proved to be very controversial upon its release due to the portrayal of Jesus as a woman.
