The IEEE Biomedical Engineering Award is a Technical Field Award of the IEEE given for outstanding contributions to outstanding contributions to the field of biomedical engineering.The award will be given each year to an individual multiple recipients or a team of up to three people. The award was established by the IEEE Board of Directors in November 2010.
