Idoia Zenarrutzabeitia Beldarrain (born June 6 1959) in Usansolo Biscay is a Spanish Basque politician. She is a leading member of the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) and the former Vice-President of Spain’s Basque Country Autonomous Community from January 1999 to May 2009.Beldarrain holds a bachelor’s degree in Law majoring in Economy and Law from the University of Deusto where she is a lecturer in Political Sociology.
