Idiopathic interstitial pneumonia (IIP) or noninfectious pneumonia are a class of diffuse lung diseases. It is a term used for a type of diffuse parenchymal lung disease (DPLD) also called interstitial lung disease (ILD).There are seven distinct subtypes of IIP.
