The 1990 Idaho gubernatorial election was held on November 6 1990 to elect the Governor of the state of Idaho. Cecil D. Andrus the Democratic incumbent ran for an unprecedented fourth term. State Senator Roger Fairchild won the Republican nomination but was easily defeated by the popular incumbent.
