Ian Preece (born 23 June 1982) is a Welsh professional snooker player from the city of Newport Wales. He appeared in main tour after much success as a junior including becoming the youngest winner of the World Amateur Championship in 1999. He kept this record until December 2011 when Hossein Vafaei became the World Amateur Championship at the age of 17 years and 81 days.
