In enzymology a hydroperoxide dehydratase (EC 4.2.1.92) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction(9Z11E14Z)-(13S)-hydroperoxyoctadeca-91114-trienoate (9Z)-(13S)-1213-epoxyoctadeca-911-dienoate + H2OHence this enzyme has one substrate (9Z11E14Z)-(13S)-hydroperoxyoctadeca-91114-trienoate and two products (9Z)-(13S)-1213-epoxyoctadeca-911-dienoate and H2O.This enzyme belongs to the family of lyases specifically the hydro-lyases which cleave carbon-oxygen bonds.
