Hugh McLaughlin (born 16 July 1909) was an Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne and Footscray in the VFL during the 1930s. McLaughlin was a gutsy half back flanker and was a key premiership player with South Melbourne in the 1933 side. He played 96 games with the bloods as well as representing Victoria at interstate football.
