Huddersfield Literature Festival is an annual literary festival which takes place in Huddersfield West Yorkshire England. In addition to author events creative writing classes and poetry nights the festival has run creative writing competitions. The 2nd festival in 2007 featured an appearance by the Poet Laureate Andrew Motion and the novelist Joanne Harris. HLF 2013 took place from 14–17 March 2013.
