Horace Charles Horrie Gorringe was a Tasmanian Australian rules football player considered one of the greatest Australian rules football rovers in the game’s history.Horrie Gorringe was born on 4 July 1895 and died on 17 July 1994 aged 99.Gorringe played for the Cananore club in the Tasmanian Football League between the years 1914 and 1930. He was Club Champion in 1928 winning the Most Consistent award.
