The Hopi are a federally recognized tribe of Native American people who primarily live on the 2531.773 sq mi (6557.26 km2) Hopi Reservation in northeastern Arizona. As of 2010 there were 18327 Hopi in the United States according to the 2010 census. The Hopi language is one of the 30 of the Uto-Aztecan language family.The Hopi Reservation is entirely surrounded by the much larger Navajo Reservation.
